| Specification: | The canneed “ CLT-600 Leak Tester for can ” is used for checking the permeability of 3-piece cans in a water bath. The can is fixed to magnet disc plate and submerged into the water. At the same time it is subjected to pressure and leaks are revealed by air bubbles. End and side seams visible.
A special parallel clamping system enables to measure different diameters and heights with one device. The clamping pressure and the test pressure may be set independantly.
The operator determines the period of time the cans are under water. If he switches the by-pass lever and presses the two button valves, the cans deaerate and are lifted out of the water.The whole test cycle is automated and is pneumatically controlled by pressure regulator valves.
